Warren Buffett is famous for his
pledge where he proposes to give away most of his wealth away to charity, this
means that he will be giving away just over $50 billion to help people in need.
This billionaire doesn't really believe in setting up foundations and drip
feeding money into good causes instead, he proposes to give away all of his
money within ten years of his death through catalyst philanthropy. One of the reasons why Warren Buffett is determined to give his money away within 10 years
is so that he can leave a legacy for others to follow, some say that this
billionaire gave birth to modern-day philanthropy and with his pledge he is
still at the forefront of giving.
Bill & Melinda Gates have
taken up philanthropy on a full-time basis and like Warren Buffett have pledged
to give most of their wealth away when they die. Most of this billionaire
couples attention goes to global health and development as well as educational
causes and to date they have set up countless clinics and schools all over
developing countries in Africa and Asia .
While this couple does not conform to Warren Buffett's Catalyst Philanthropy
ideals they opt for a more sustained drip feeding method of philanthropy which
ensures the continuity of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Rich People That Give Their Money Away
Jeff Skoll is a modern-day
philanthropist best described as a financier of good causes, he cherry-picks
the people who ask him for help and then helps them with their cause. Jeff
Skoll made his billions when he started eBay from his stinky shed, he has now
given away more than $400 Million to good causes. Jeff Skoll is truly
international and actively supported the campaign to help the Amazon
Rain forest flourish, he also
supports social enterprises and entrepreneurs in their endeavors. This is
definitely a millionaire that's worth contacting if you're looking for some
support for education and training.

Hi. My name is Kelly. I am hopeful your able to give me a hand. I help the homeless as much as I am able to from my apartment. All through donation items to either resell or redonate to people when starting over from being in shelters. Sometimes people just need a good meal or groceries so I do my best to stay stocked up. There are so many people in need especially at this time. I am seeking help to relocate into a farm house instead of an apartment. because I'm out growing my apt. I live on a limited income that keeps me from having funds to do such. Anything your able to help with would be very much appreciated. I hate to put a price on what your able to do. Especially at this time of such uncertainty. Just know there are many in need. This pandemic has hit the poverty level hard. All donations can be made through paypal.

Hmmm could this really work? My name is Carol. I'm 57 and have raised three boys on my own. My youngest is 30, Autistic, and lives with me. I have had to relocate to Arizona from Colorado because my elderly sister needed help. She is better but I cannot leave Arizona so I can be close to her. I just want to buy a small mobile home for my son and I. If you decide that you can give me the funds for a mobile home, I just need $35,000. Or even $20,000. I am working but with COVID I lost my job and had to take a lower paying job. Thank you for your consideration.
